Brent crude trading lower at $89.77/bbl

Crude oil futures declined 0.54 per cent to Rs7,179 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On MCX, crude oil for September delivery fell Rs39 or 0.54 per cent to Rs7,179 per barrel with a business volume of 9,944 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading 0.28 per cent lower at $86.45 per barrel, while Brent crude was down 0.30 per cent at $89.77 per barrel in New York.
