Texmaco gets LOI from JSW for 20 freight wagons

Kolkata: Engineering major Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited on Tuesday said it received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from JSW Group for manufacturing and supplying 20 rakes of freight wagons valued at approximately Rs 421.38 crore, inclusive of GST. The order comprises BLCS wagons, BLSS wagons, BFNV wagons, and BVCM brake vans, designed to support high-capacity container transport and efficient rail logistics operations, a statement said. Sudipta Mukherjee, Managing Director, Texmaco Rail & Engineering, said the order "further strengthens Texmaco's long-standing role in supporting India's private freight wagon ecosystem."
