Altyn Tor Gold Project in Kyrgyzstan on right track, says Deccan Gold

Vijayawada: Deccan Gold Mines Ltd., India’s first and only listed gold and critical minerals exploration company, said on Tuesday its Managing Director Dr Hanuma Prasad Modali met with Askar Beshimov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to India, during his visit to Chennai and discussed the progress of the mining project in Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting reaffirmed the deepening economic and diplomatic partnership between India and Kyrgyzstan, anchored by Deccan Gold’s upcoming Altyn Tor Gold Project, which he said is on track to commence production later this year.
The Altyn Tor project marks the first overseas mining investment by an Indian company in Kyrgyzstan and represents a powerful symbol of collaboration between the two nations.
The project reflects Deccan Gold’s ambition to be a global mining player while advancing India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of securing critical mineral resources.
