How do you see the demand for digital transformation and AI-driven solutions evolving in India’s enterprise and SME sectors?

Both large and SME enterprise clusters in India are shifting from basic digital building blocks to more advanced, AI-focused solutions. The most significant trend is seen in cloud-native platforms, automation, and AI agents. While big businesses implement AI technologies into customer service systems, data analysis, and workflow systems, small businesses use SME chatbots, recommendation systems, and small-scale automation to leverage efficiency and drive engagement.

Technologically, mobile apps are now designed with cloud services, AI integrations, and serverless backends that provide scale and speed to market. The shift is noticeable since businesses are no longer thinking of apps as standalone products; rather, they are thinking of them as part of AI-fuelled multi-channel ecosystems that will offer customised and continuous engagement. With artificial intelligence being the focal point of digital transformation initiatives, the demands will also skyrocket.

With global businesses increasingly moving toward digital-first strategies, how is Techugo positioning itself to support this shift?

When Techugo began 10 years ago, the digital wave had hardly touched India, but we saw a future where technology would be the growth driver for startups and enterprises alike. We began by assisting startups in crafting their digital journeys and facilitating top enterprises such as Airtel and Josh to scale effortlessly.

Now, with the world adopting digital-first strategies, we maintain the same vision with even more vigor. With cutting-edge AI technologies, richer technological capabilities, and a strong focus on innovation, we help businesses keep up with the times and stay future-ready. Our commitment is not just to accept this change but to lead it so our partners can thrive in an increasingly changing, digitally oriented world economy.

What are the key factors driving companies to invest in scalable mobile apps and enterprise platforms today?

Nowadays, businesses are also investing in scalable enterprise platforms and mobile applications due to several strong reasons. The first priority is scalability, as organisations need solutions that can be able to accommodate a much increased universe of customers across the world. The other important thing is shifting customer behaviour, where companies are listening to deliver improved digital experiences, enabling engagement and retention. Security and compliance also shape investments because businesses must safeguard sensitive data along with adhering to industry compliance requirements.

Cost savings and dependability also prefer scalable platforms, which enable organisations to match resources in an effective manner while upholding maximum performance and stability in an aggressive online marketplace.

How does Techugo incorporate user experience and customer-centric design into its development process?

At Techugo, we prioritise user experience as well. We start by researching the target audience and mapping their journey. Our design team then builds clean and simple flows that make the app easy to use.

We also engage clients right from the beginning with prototypes and refine the experience iteratively with analytics and feedback. This helps ensure that the final product is not only operational but also meaningful to the ultimate users.

What steps is the company taking to make advanced technology solutions like AI more accessible and cost-efficient for SMEs and traditional businesses?

We are aware that expense and difficulty are the biggest challenges to conventional companies and SMEs embracing AI. To counteract this, we create scalable and modular solutions in a way that clients can begin small and expand as their needs increase. We use cloud-native services and serverless architecture, which lowers the initial expense of infrastructure. Also, we are very aggressive in upskilling and regular AI training within the organisation.

The impact that we saw in the past 3 months was a 30% reduction in time. It has directly impacted the cost of the product, by saving time, the product costs have decreased. Efficiency and quality have increased significantly. We also build solutions that are easy to use and maintain; hence, technology is never a limitation but always an enhancer of growth.

Are there any recent innovations or industry-specific solutions from Techugo that you are particularly excited about?

We are interested in some of the cutting-edge AI features we are developing for our apps. These include an AI-based “Try On Me” feature and Tailoring Simulator that allows users to virtually try products, advanced chatbots that go beyond FAQs to handle complex interactions, and generative AI models that create more personalised content and recommendations.

We are also responsibly experimenting with deepfake tech to build more immersive and interactive user experiences. These advancements demonstrate our vision of bringing cutting-edge AI into daily apps in a practical, accessible, and significant manner for end-users.

What are the biggest challenges businesses face when adopting new technologies, and how can they be addressed effectively?

One of the most significant challenges companies experience these days is keeping up with the fast pace of AI-driven transformation. Though AI provides tremendous potential, most companies and departments are at risk of being made obsolete if they don’t make these new, more efficient methods of working their own. Coding is quicker now, and images are generated in seconds, but having these is not enough.

The challenge is actually using these technologies efficiently in order to drive innovation and value. What we require for this is a culture of adaptability, continuous upskilling, and smart deployment to maximize efficiency and long-term growth.

How is Techugo navigating issues like talent availability, scaling global operations, and maintaining quality across multiple markets?

We at Techugo tackle challenges such as talent availability, global scaling, and quality with a systematic approach. With 250+ professionals, of whom 75% work remotely, we can have the best-in-class talent without geographical constraints. It facilitates us to scale operations seamlessly with speed across geographies.

To ensure consistent quality, we heavily invest in in-house AI-led training workshops for departments, embedding continuous upskilling. This dispersed model of talent and continuous capability-building allows us to provide stable, innovative, and future-proof solutions to our international clients.

Does Techugo have any expansion plans, upcoming partnerships, or focus areas in international markets such as the Middle East or South America?

Today, virtually 60% of our clients are located in the Middle East, where we are seeing healthy expansion and building our presence at a pace. While this continues to be our primary market, we are also making strategic moves in the US and Australia to expand our global footprint.

These countries offer huge opportunities for innovation-driven partnerships and scalable businesses that fit well with our areas of strength. Our ambition is to establish stronger long-term relationships in global markets so that Techugo is a very reputable tech partner for global firms.

How do you see the role of technology, particularly AI and digital platforms, in reshaping industries like agriculture, FMCG, and manufacturing over the next 5–10 years?

Over the next 5–10 years, AI and digital platforms will drive industries such as agriculture, FMCG, and manufacturing. They will help with intelligent crop planning, precision farming, and supply chain optimisation in agriculture. FMCG companies will apply these technologies to provide hyper-personalised customer experiences, demand forecasting maximisation, and optimised distribution.

Production will witness increased automation, pre-failure maintenance, and the application of digital twins to maximise uptime and productivity. These advances combined will convert businesses from intuitive, manual decision-making to information-based, smart decision-making, making businesses more efficient, resilient, and forward-looking.
