US President Donald Trump will join the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026, scheduled to be held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 19 to 23. The five-day global summit will bring together political leaders, policymakers, and business executives to discuss pressing international issues.
Confirming Trump’s participation, the World Economic Forum announced on X that the US President will be part of WEF 2026, continuing his engagement with the platform following his special address at Davos 2025, delivered shortly after his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States.
The summit will be held under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue”, with a focus on strengthening cooperation, promoting inclusive development, and fostering innovation-oriented growth. Discussions will centre on five major global challenges that require close collaboration between the public and private sectors, supported by all key stakeholders. Other Indian chief ministers likely to be present include N. Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh), Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), A. Revanth Reddy (Telangana), and Hemant Soren (Jharkhand).
