US President Donald Trump’s speech at the Israeli Parliament was briefly interrupted by two left-wing lawmakers during the Gaza peace deal celebration, but he continued calmly, calling the day a “new dawn” for the Middle East.
Donald Trump addresses the Israeli Parliament as Gaza hostages return home, with lawmakers briefly interrupting his speech.

On the historic day that the Gaza peace deal, which included the release of both Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, was signed and the two-year conflict came to an end, the address of US President Donald Trump at the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) was briefly interrupted by two left-wing lawmakers.
While the speech was being delivered, the politicians Ayman Odeh and Ofer Cassif from a joint Palestinian-Israeli political group shouted slogans and showed placards demanding Palestine's recognition. They were quickly removed from the Knesset. The Knesset Speaker apologized to Trump, who responded with composure, saying, “That was efficient,” before continuing his address to sustained applause.
Trump Hails “New Dawn” for the Middle East
Trump described the day as a historic moment, signaling the end of an era of terror and the start of a “Golden Age of Israel and the Middle East.” He praised the release of 20 Israeli hostages and credited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and others involved in facilitating the Gaza peace deal.
Looking back at the two-year struggle, Trump stated, "By terrorists, thousands of innocent Israeli civilians were attacked... America takes part in your promises—NEVER FORGET, and NEVER AGAIN." He pointed out that the long and painful nightmare had not only ended for the Israelites but also for all the others in the area, including the Palestinians.
Trump went on to stress the decline of chaos and terror in the Holy Land along with the rise of a group of responsible countries. He invited the turning of military victories into permanent peace and richness for the area, and thus he got a standing ovation from the Knesset.
The speech turned out to be a symbolic announcement of the Gaza peace deal, as Trump kept a calm and optimistic demeanor despite the brief disruption caused by the opposing lawmakers.
