Triumph unveils speed triple 1200Rx – A limited-edition track weapon for performance purists

Triumph Motorcycles has taken the wraps off its most aggressive and track-focused Speed Triple yet — the Speed Triple 1200Rx. Building upon the revered Speed Triple RS platform, the new Rx edition promises even sharper performance, race-ready ergonomics, and exclusive appeal, with production limited to just 1,200 units globally.

Engine & Performance

At its heart, the 1200Rx retains the same potent 1160cc three-cylinder engine that churns out 183 PS of power and 128 Nm of peak torque. Known for its razor-sharp handling and relentless acceleration, this engine is already a benchmark in the naked sportbike segment.

Purpose-Built for the Track

What sets the 1200Rx apart is its enhanced focus on track performance:

Clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs offer a more aggressive, forward-leaning rider position.

Ohlins semi-active suspension and steering damper come as standard, ensuring high-speed stability and precision cornering.

The chassis and suspension setup remain unchanged, preserving the perfect balance and feedback of the RS model.

Interestingly, despite the added components, the 1200Rx tips the scales at the same weight as the standard Speed Triple RS.
