Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones—Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE—have created a major buzz in the Indian smartphone market. Within just 48 hours of launch, the trio amassed 210,000 pre-orders, matching the record set by the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year.

Samsung’s Southwest Asia President and CEO, JB Park, confirmed the milestone, stating that the overwhelming response highlights Indian consumers’ growing appetite for next-generation foldable technology. “The record-breaking pre-orders for our ‘Made in India’ foldables mark a crucial step toward mainstream adoption of foldable smartphones,” he said.
