Rosie Roche, a 20-year-old cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, was tragically found dead at her family residence in Norton, Wiltshire, England, on Monday, July 14. A firearm was discovered near her body.

Authorities, including Coroner Grant Davies, have classified the death as non-suspicious, confirming that no third-party involvement is suspected.

Rosie was studying English Literature at Durham University and was described as a beloved daughter, sister, and granddaughter. An obituary published in The Yorkshire Post stated:

“Darling daughter of Hugh and Pippa, incredible sister to Archie and Agatha, granddaughter to Derek and Rae Long.”

Her family held a private funeral, with plans for a future memorial service.

This tragedy follows last year’s death of Thomas Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston (Rosie’s royal cousin), who also died with a firearm found at the scene; that death was ruled a suicide.
