PM Modi Speaks to Emir of Qatar, Condemns Israeli Strikes on Doha
PM Modi condemns Israeli strikes on Doha during call with Qatar’s Emir, stressing peace, diplomacy, and rejection of terrorism in all forms.
PM Modi spoke to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, condemning Israeli strikes on Doha and calling for peace through dialogue.

The air attacks in Doha, killing six persons including civilians in a neighborhood with embassies and schools, worried New Delhi, noted PM Narendra Modi during a call with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani on Wednesday.
Posting on X, PM Modi tweeted:
“Spoke with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani and expressed deep concern at the attacks in Doha. India condemns the violation of the sovereignty of the brotherly State of Qatar.”
He reiterated India's firm stand for peace and stability in the region and against all manifestations of terrorism and called for the resolution of conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy so as not to further escalate the situation.
Israel Accepts Responsibility for the Attack on Doha
On airing the air strikes, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel declared that Israel had "initiated and conducted" the attack and "takes full responsibility for it."
According to reports, the strike targeted the political headquarters of Hamas in Doha. Hamas subsequently confirmed that five of its leaders had been killed, including the son of its exiled Gaza chief and senior negotiator, Khalil al-Hayya.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the strike, calling it a “flagrant violation of international laws and norms.”
