MSCI May Review: Nykaa and Coromandel Join Global Standard Index; 12 New Stocks in Smallcap List

Coromandel International and FSN E-commerce Ventures which is FSN E-commerce Ventures,
the parent of online retailer of beauty and fashion Nykaa will be part of the MSCI India Index,
which is part of the MSCI Global Standard Index, the global index provider announced.
In the rebalancing announcement for MSCI May rejig Coromandel International and Nykaa
shares were added to the Global Standard Index, while there was no deletion in the Index.
The changes will take effect from the time of closing trading on May 30 2025. MSCI said.
When it is included into an index like the MSCI Global Standard Index, Coromandel
International is estimated to receive passive inflows of $252 million. Meanwhile, Nykaa is
expected to experience flows of $199 million according to Nuvama Alternative and Quantitative
Research.
Coromandel International and GMR Airports are also part of the MSCI rejig India index for the
domestic market and auto component manufacturer Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. was
removed from the index.
MSCI India Domestic Smallcap Index
Additionally 12 stocks were included in the MSCI India Domestic Smallcap Index while 21
stocks were taken out.
MSCI global standard index rejig full list: Acme Solar Holdings, Authum Investment, AWL
Agri Business and AWL Business, Dr. Agarwal's Health Care, Godrej Agrovet, Hexaware
Technologies, International Gemmological Institute India, Le Travenues Technology, Premier
Energies, Sagility India, Sai Life Sciences and Sona BLW Precision Forgings are added to the
MSCI rejig Index.
Godrej Industries, Aarti Drugs, Patel Engineering, Allcargo Logistics, Prince Pipes and Fittings,
Orchid Pharma are among 21 companies that have been removed out of the Index.
The changes in the components of this index MSCI rebalancing Domestic Small Cap Index
will take effect at the end of May 30, 2025.
