LTTS inaugurates a new ITAR-compliant engineering design centre in Plano, Texas—boosting nearshore capabilities in AI, defense, cybersecurity, and digital manufacturing, while creating 350+ high-skilled US engineering jobs.

L&T Technology Services (LLTS) has opened a state-of-the-art engineering design centre in Plano, Texas of US.
This investment underscores LTTS’ commitment to delivering advanced solutions in AI & tech, the company said in a press release. According to the engineering services firm, setting up such centre is part of its plan to bring in more near shore centres tailored to the needs of clients.
As an ITAR-compliant facility, the centre is equipped to design, develop, and test defence-related products and systems.
The new design hub will also focus on advanced cybersecurity solutions, including a Security Operations Centre (SoC).
The centre will have an initial capacity of housing 100 engineers. In future, the centre aims to create more than 350 high-skilled jobs in core business segments including mobility and tech.
