The two-week ceasefire in the Iran–Israel–US war seems to be at the stage of collapse. Neither side of the government has formally agreed to - or followed - Washington’s 15-point proposal nor Tehran’s 10-point counterplan. In just 48 hours of the U.S. President announcing a provisional ceasefire on April 8, fighting between Israel and Iran continued unabated.

It was supposed to pause straight US–Israeli strikes on Iran in exchange for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the beginning of the harmony. The negotiations are expected to take place on Friday in Islamabad. Meanwhile, at the time of writing, the truce seems to have already unravelled. Hormuz shipping disruption starts once again.

Iran works on a 10-point plan, adding lifting sanctions and maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz. It is just the acceptance of its uranium enrichment for a quiet nuclear programme. It is also known for an end to attacks on allies and includes in Lebanon and Yemen, and a withdrawal of US troops from the area. Iran highly demanded compensation for aggression and the discharge of frozen assets. The demand of Iran clashed straight away with the US’s reported 15-point plan.

The Iran-US tensions plan called for an end to Iran's uranium enrichment. It restricts the missile programme and halts Tehran’s support for local proxies. The US also looked for a full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for global trade.

Iran reportedly responded to Israel Lebanon's strikes involving Hezbollah with missile and drone strikes. It directly targets the Gulf states like Saudi Arabia and the UAE, just like the last phases of the Gulf state attacks.
