New Delhi: The India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (Ind-Aus ECTA), which completed four years on Thursday since it was first signed, has played a key role in propelling India’s exports and enhancing trade between the two countries.
The agreement, signed on April 2, 2022, has created new opportunities for businesses, entrepreneurs, and employment in both countries over the last four years.
India’s exports to Australia have more than doubled, rising from $4 billion in FY 2020–21 to $8.5 billion in FY 2024–25.
