A tragic incident has emerged from the United States, where a 26-year-old Indian student from Hyderabad named Chandrashekar Pole was shot at a gas station in Dallas by unidentified gunmen.
It is said that Pole was working a part-time shift on Friday night, the night on which the shooting happened. The attacker or miscreant however has fled, and investigations are in full swing.
About the Victim
Chandrashekar Pole had done Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) in India before coming to the US for higher education in 2023. He finished his master’s degree six months ago and worked at the gas station while seeking full-time employment.
Political Response in Telangana
With the family, BRS MLA T Harish Rao met the bereaved members and offered his condolences. He called the loss "heart-wrenching," adding, "The parents are undergoing immense pain, knowing that their son whom they had great expectations for has departed; it is truly shattering to behold."
Rao has pressed the Telangana government for immediate action to bring back the mortal remains of Pole to his hometown for funeral rites.
