One flight each on the Hyderabad routes to Jodhpur, Srinagar, Rajkot, and Ahmedabad
Flights to critical zones such as Srinagar and Jammu faced heightened disruption as airports in those regions remained closed.
🛑 Suspension Till May 10
A travel advisory issued by RGIA noted:
“Due to changing airspace conditions, some flights have been impacted at RGI Airport. Passengers are advised to check their respective airlines for updated schedules. Security checks may take longer than expected.”
An official from IndiGo confirmed that the suspension of flight services to affected cities would continue till 5:39 AM on May 10, 2025, following government directives.
International flights en route to Amritsar were also diverted to Delhi, as per updated air traffic control orders.
⚠️ Advisory for Travellers
Airlines have urged passengers to stay updated through airline websites and apps.
“We are closely monitoring the situation. Further schedule adjustments may follow. Customers are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport,” said a spokesperson from IndiGo.
✈️ Impact Across India
