Leaked GTA 6 animation clip from ex-Rockstar animator Ben Chue shows realistic character movements and bicycle interactions, fueling excitement among fans.

Online, new animation footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has leaked, bringing back the thrill of fans for the game which was almost impossible to be expected. The clip was released by Ben Chue, a former character animator at Rockstar Games, through his demo reel, thus giving a rare sneak peek at the early development of animations for the next installment of the blockbuster series.
How the Leak Occurred
The first few seconds of the reel depict the video game in question, and were probably the main reason why the fans were so quick to pick up on the video and the comments made around it. The discovery of the leaked animations was made in a demo reel uploaded by Ben Chue on Vimeo. The variety of Rockstar games that are present in the reel plus the first 19 seconds which is all about GTA 6 animations grabbed the fans’ attention very quickly. The short clips went fast on Reddit’s r/GamingLeaksAndRumours where analyzing every frame in detail was the next step taken.
Chue, who has animated characters in Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V, and Max Payne 3, uploaded the reel to his online portfolio. Because of his confirmed credits, this leak is regarded as much more reliable than the occasional AI-generated or fan-made clips that are circulated.
What the GTA 6 Animation Shows
The leaked footage highlights two key animation sequences:
Bicycle Interaction: A male character is seen pulling a bicycle off a rack and mounting it, showcasing realistic pedal movements, weight shifts, and object interactions. The bicycle is humorously branded “LOMBike,” continuing Rockstar’s tradition of parody brands.
Female Character Movement: Another clip features a female character jumping down from a truck to the pavement. Though brief, the smooth animation highlights early development in character motion design for GTA 6.
Rockstar’s Response
Rockstar Games has not commented on the leak, which only contains pre-release animation tests rather than actual gameplay or story elements. It remains unclear whether the company will take legal action. Meanwhile, the footage continues to circulate online, intensifying anticipation for the official GTA 6 gameplay reveal.
