The global K-pop sensation BTS has once again proven its dominance on the global music stage. Following the full return of all members from mandatory military service, the group’s first live album, ‘Permission to Dance On Stage – Live’, has officially debuted at No. 10 on the prestigious Billboard 200 albums chart.

BTS Sets Record with Most Billboard 200 Top 10 Albums for a K-pop Act

The album, recorded during BTS’ sold-out Permission to Dance world tour (2021–2022), marks the group’s eighth Top 10 entry on the Billboard 200. This feat establishes BTS as the K-pop act with the most Top 10 albums, surpassing fellow groups TWICE, ATEEZ, and SEVENTEEN, each with seven albums on the chart.

From July 18 to 24, BTS reportedly moved 43,000 equivalent album units in the U.S., combining physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming.

Other BTS albums previously entering the Top 10 include:

  • Love Yourself: Her
  • Love Yourself: Tear
  • Love Yourself: Answer
  • Map of the Soul: Persona
  • Map of the Soul: 7
  • BE
  • Proof

Jungkook’s 'Seven' Continues Its Global Run

While the group celebrates its chart milestone, Jungkook—the youngest BTS member—continues his solo success. His hit single ‘Seven’, released in July 2023, has now spent 104 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Global 200, currently positioned at No. 156.

In addition, the track holds firm on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, marking its 105th week—a rare accomplishment that showcases Jungkook’s worldwide appeal.

Looking Ahead to BTS’ 2026 Comeback Album

With preparations underway for BTS’ spring 2026 album, members are said to be actively working in and out of the United States. Their reunion post-SUGA’s discharge has sparked excitement among ARMYs (BTS fans) globally.

Meanwhile, Jungkook recently made headlines after reportedly returning to South Korea briefly to bid farewell to his close friend Cha Eun Woo, who is enlisting in the military.
