A total lunar eclipse, also referred to as the Blood Moon, will be the first spectacular astronomical event of September 2025. The Moon will be completely covered by Earth's shadow during this uncommon occurrence, giving it a deep red or orange appearance.
India, Western Australia, China, Russia, Arab countries, and Eastern Africa will all be able to see the Blood Moon in 2025. Alaska, the United Kingdom, and portions of Western Europe will have partial visibility.

The Blood Moon: What Causes It?
When the Earth's shadow completely encloses the Moon, a total lunar eclipse takes place. The Blood Moon effect is when sunlight refracts through Earth's atmosphere, giving the Moon a red glow rather than a disappearance.
It's interesting to note that each full moon has a conventional name. Because it falls during the corn crop harvest season, the September full moon is also referred to as the Corn Moon.
