After captivating audiences across India, Ashwin Kumar’s mythological animated feature Mahavatar Narsimha is set to release in Australia on July 31. Produced by Kleem Productions and Hombale Films, the film has already made waves at the domestic box office and is now poised to expand its global reach.

The announcement was officially made by Hombale Films via X (formerly Twitter), stating:

“The divine roar echoes across the world… and now, it reaches Australia. #MahavatarNarsimha is all set to ignite the screens… Come and be part of this divine cinematic experience.”

A Mythological Tale Goes Global

Directed by Ashwin Kumar, Mahavatar Narsimha tells the timeless story of Prahlada and his tyrannical father, Hiranyakashipu. Despite being granted near-invincibility by Lord Brahma, Hiranyakashipu's attempts to eliminate his devout son are thwarted by the fourth avatar of Lord Vishnu — Narsimha, a half-lion, half-man deity who restores cosmic balance.

The animated adaptation has struck an emotional chord with audiences of all ages and is celebrated for its powerful storytelling, impressive animation, and spiritual themes.

A Franchise in the Making

Mahavatar Narsimha is the first installment in a decade-spanning animated franchise based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu. Future titles include:

  • Mahavatar Parshuram (2027)
  • Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029)
  • Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031)
  • Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033)
  • Mahavatar Kalki – Part 1 (2035) and Part 2 (2037)

Fan Appeal and Piracy Warning

With excitement running high, the film's creators have urged fans not to upload footage online. In a recent statement, Hombale Films said:

“We kindly request all fans to refrain from sharing video clips from the film online. Let’s preserve the divine experience for everyone to witness the magic on the big screen.”
