New Delhi: Zydus Wellness Ltd on Wednesday reported a 9 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 145.33 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 133.3 crore in the year-ago period, Zydus Wellness said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated total revenue from operations stood at Rs 712.98 crore during the quarter under review as compared to Rs 639.78 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Total expenses during the quarter stood at Rs 580.23 crore, up from Rs 510.34 crore in the year-ago period. For the fiscal ended March 31, 2023 consolidated net profit was at Rs 310.37 crore as compared to Rs 308.87 crore in the previous year. For FY23 consolidated total revenue from operations was at Rs 2,254.79 crore as against Rs 2,009.1 crore in FY22, the company said.

Devyani Intl net down 21%

New Delhi: Devyani International Ltd, a quick service restaurant (QSR) operator, on Wednesday reported a decline of 21.15 per cent in its consolidated net profit to Rs 59.87 crore for the fourth quarter ended on March 31, 2023. The company, which is the largest franchisee of Yum Brands in India, having Pizza Hut, KFC, and Costa Coffee, reported a net profit of Rs 75.93 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago. Its revenue from operations during the quarter was up 27.8 per cent to Rs 754.97 crore as against Rs 590.74 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing by Devyani International Ltd (DIL). DIL's total expenses were at Rs 724.76 crore, up 32.25 per cent from the corresponding period a year ago. For the fiscal year ended March 2023, DIL's net profit was up 69.23 per cent at Rs 262.51 crore. It had reported a net profit of Rs 155.11 crore in the previous fiscal. Its revenue from operations was at Rs 2,997.72 crore in FY23, 43.84 per cent higher than the previous fiscal year.

Jubilant FoodWorks net falls 70%

New Delhi: Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd on Wednesday reported a 70 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 28.54 crore in the March quarter, impacted by higher expenses and raw materials cost. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 96 crore in the year-ago period, Jubilant FoodWorks said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations in the fourth quarter was at Rs 1,269.85 crore as against Rs 1,175.97 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Total expenses were higher at Rs 1,205.15 crore as compared with Rs 1,038.27 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, the company said. Cost of raw materials consumed in the quarter was at Rs 290.96 crore, up from Rs 254.96 crore in the same period of FY22. The company, which holds the exclusive master franchise rights from Domino's Pizza Inc for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal, besides exclusive rights to develop and operate Dunkin' restaurants in India and Popeyes restaurants in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan, said it opened 61 new stores in India in the fourth quarter.

Ramco Systems loss at Rs 454.03 mn

Chennai: Enterprise software player Ramco Systems reported a consolidated net loss at Rs 454.03 million for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2023, the company said on Wednesday. The city-based firm had reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 264.50 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the year ending March 31, 2023, the consolidated net loss stood at Rs 2,068.59 million as against Rs 729.30 million registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Total income on a consolidated basis during the quarter under review went up to Rs 1,282.68 million as against Rs 1,252.41 million registered in the corresponding period of last year.

Tilaknagar Industries net rises to Rs 59 cr

New Delhi: Leading Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) manufacturer Tilaknagar Industries Ltd has reported an over two-fold increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 59.09 crore for the March quarter, led by higher volumes. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 23.24 crore in the January-March period a year ago, Tilaknagar Industries Ltd said in a BSE filing on Tuesday. Its revenue from operations was at Rs 717.24 crore, up 37.69 per cent, during the period under review against Rs 520.90 crore in the year-ago period. The company said its volumes were significantly at higher levels compared to pre-Covid times. It had "46 per cent volume growth in Q4 on YoY basis," according to the company's earnings presentation.

JSL net falls to Rs 716 crore

New Delhi: Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL) on Wednesday posted a nearly 20 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 716.29 crore for the March quarter due to higher expenses. The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 894.93 crore during the January-March quarter of FY2021-22, JSL said in a regulatory filing. The company's total income during the fourth quarter fell to Rs 9,803.01 crore from Rs 9,752.11 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses rose to Rs 8,885.45 crore as against Rs 8,579.12 crore. The company's board has approved a dividend of Rs 1.50 per equity share of face value Rs 2 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2023.
