Jio 5G now at 850 locations in TS

Hyderabad Indian telecom company, Jio (Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited) on Monday said 5G services are now available in all district headquarters and over 850 major locations across Telangana.

Jio said its 5G network covers important localities, tourist spots, educational institutions, malls and markets, residential areas, hospitals, hotels and restaurants, government buildings, and other important commercial establishments in these regions. Additionally, several towns and villages adjacent to these 850 locations will also benefit from Jio 5G connectivity.

A Jio Spokesperson said, “We are happy to announce the availability of Jio 5G services in all district headquarters and over 850 major locations across Telangana. Jio is the operator of choice for mobile users in the State and this expansion is a testament to Jio’s continued commitment to the people of Telangana.”

The spokesperson further said that Jio plans to launch 5G services in every town and taluk across the country by the end of December 2023. Jio 5G boasts a three-fold advantage - it operates on a stand-alone 5G architecture, he added.
