Sucharita Palepu is Non-executive Ind Director of Granules

Hyderabad: Granules India Limited, a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company, on Thursday announced the appointment of Sucharita Rao Palepu as Non-executive Independent Director on the Board of the Company with immediate effect. Sucharita brings with her a rich and varied experience of two decades in information technology and financial services.

She is currently a Strategic Advisor specialising in Organisation & HR Transformation initiatives, prior to which, she was Global Head- Human Resources at Tech Mahindra Ltd. Dr Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, Chairman and Managing Director, Granules India Limited said, "Further strengthening the Board of Directors, we welcome Sucharita as non-executive Independent Director. Her experience in Organisation & HR Transformation initiatives and commercial orientation will be an added asset for us. "

During her career, Sucharita was instrumental in initiating several significant transformation programmes and large-scale HR interventions, with a proven track record of delivering successful change in a global, diverse, multi-cultural and complex environment. With a strong commercial orientation, she is known for bringing about pioneering changes across various initiatives.

She was awarded Exemplary Woman in Leader Award (APAC) in HR Branding Awards 2015-16 and Women Super Achievers Award in HR Branding Awards 2009-10.
