OnePlus 13S Launch Confirmed for June 5! New AI Features and Specs Unveiled

OnePlus is gearing up to launch its compact flagship, the OnePlus 13S, on June 5. The device will come packed with several new AI-powered features and introduce a redesigned key for enhanced usability and smoother operation. Powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the OnePlus 13S is essentially a rebranded version of the recently released OnePlus 13T, tailored specifically for the Indian market.

The OnePlus 13S will be available in three stunning color options: Black, Velvet Pink Satin, and Green Silk. Moving away from the traditional circular camera module seen on previous models, the 13S features a large rectangular camera setup that stands out.

A notable change is the removal of the beloved alert slider. In its place, OnePlus has introduced a programmable AI-assisted key. While the tactile alert slider had a strong fan following, this new key aims to enhance everyday functionality by activating OnePlus AI Plus Mind, which intelligently captures and analyzes on-screen content for future use.

The phone will also bring a host of new AI features, including AI Voice Scribe, AI Translation, AI Search, AI Reframe, and an AI Best Face feature. Additionally, the front camera is upgraded to a 32MP autofocus shooter, compared to the 16MP shooter found on the Chinese variant.

In terms of display, the OnePlus 13S sports a 6.32-inch 1.5K 88LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 1600 nits. Under the hood, it supports LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to feature IP65 water and dust resistance and run OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15.

Photography-wise, the phone boasts a dual-camera setup with a primary IMX906 sensor featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens. The OnePlus 13S is anticipated to be priced around ₹55,000 in India.
