Sankar Foundation sets record in eye procedures

Visakhapatnam: Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital being one of the leading community eye care service providers in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh has set a record of sorts in performing maximum number of eye operations during 2021-22.

According to KBN Mani Mala, Managing Trustee & CEO, Sankar Foundation, they have performed exceedingly well due to notable hospital doctors, paramedical staff outreach teams.Total surgeries performed was 25,665 with the screening of 1.5 lakh out-patients.

While addressing the employees in connection with the new financial year, she called upon the employees to put up more efforts to sustain the tempo in order to take the hospital to new horizons in clinical performance and also to achieve patient satisfaction index in eye care services.

"Our committed 16 full-time experienced specialists and 17 junior medical professionals supported by 260 paramedical and administrative staff are extending services in all subspecialties of ophthalmology, '' Mani Mala stated.
