Reliance FMCG Arm Enters Sri Lanka with Campa Cola and Energy Drink Range

Colombo, Sri Lanka — Reliance Industries’ FMCG arm, Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), has officially launched the Campa Beverages brand in Sri Lanka through a strategic partnership with Ceylon Cold Stores, makers of the well-known Elephant House brand.
This marks the second major collaboration between the companies, following their successful introduction of Elephant House beverages to the Indian market in February 2024.
🌏 Expanding RCPL’s Global Beverage Footprint
The move is part of RCPL’s strategy to strengthen its presence in key overseas markets. Since acquiring Campa Cola in 2022 and reintroducing it in India in 2023, the company has revitalized a nostalgic brand that once dominated the 1970s and 1980s.
In Sri Lanka, the launch is backed by Ceylon Cold Stores’ extensive distribution network and strong operational scale, ensuring the products reach a broad consumer base.
💡 Nostalgia Meets Modern Innovation
The Campa range in Sri Lanka includes:
♦ Campa Cola 🥤
♦ Campa Lemon 🍋
♦ Campa Orange 🍊
♦ Energy range: Campa NRG Gold Boost ⚡ and Berry Kik 🍓
Each 250 ml bottle is competitively priced at Rs 100, combining affordability with brand appeal.
RCPL says the products blend heritage with contemporary tastes, appealing to both loyal fans and new consumers seeking refreshing, value-for-money beverages.
🤝 Partnership Statements
Ketan Mody, Executive Director, RCPL, emphasized long-term investment plans:
“We see strong growth potential in Sri Lanka. Campa Cola isn’t just a drink—it’s a revival of a legacy, a taste of India, and a celebration of youth.”
Daminda Gamlath, President, John Keells Consumer Foods Sector, added:
“This collaboration strengthens our portfolio and market position while offering Sri Lankans high-quality, heritage-rich beverages.”
📈 Strategic Significance
