Raw Mango opens new store in Kolkata

Design house Raw Mango opened its first flagship store in Kolkata. The opening brought the brands’ explorations in textile, culture and craft to a city known for its intellectual spirit and artistic legacy.

“This move has been long due, and a priority in the larger arc of where I envisioned the brand growing. The city carries a vibrant cultural life — the conversations that emerge here, the breadth of interests, the galleries, museums and clubs — Kolkata feels like a place where ideas are exchanged frequently and where dialogue naturally finds a place,” says Sanjay Garg, the company founder.

The new Raw Mango store is housed in an early 20th-century Art Deco building, its character resonating deeply with the brand's sensibilities.
