DCI launches Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in a novel way
Visakhapatnam Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) has kick-started the celebration of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' (AKAM) Week from Saturday by joining the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, calling for celebrations under the theme of 'Maritime Heights.'
DCI started the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in a unique way by asking the employees to share their experiences in the organization. Speaking on the occasion, D. Subha Rao, CFO, DCI shared his experiences in DCI and urged all the employees that there is no bad organization anywhere and it is the employees/people who decide the destiny of an organisation by developing the core values, He called upon all the employees to work with the sole motive to enhance the performance of the organisation as a single team.
Capt. P.M. Saravanan, GM (HR) recalled the enormous contribution made by the public sector organisations in shaping the country's economy and generating employment for the people in the society.
K.A. Sreekanth, Company Secretary in DCI addressed the employees by sharing a video clip of the speech of late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, to the Constituent Assembly in the Parliament, on the eve of India's Independence, towards midnight of August 14, 1947. He further emphasised on the fact that all need to work together for the betterment of the organization.
