Premier Energies launches M10 bi-facial solar cell

Premier Energies, a solar cell and module manufacturer, announced the launch of India’s first mono perc M10 Bi-Facial Solar cell at the 15th REI expo held in Greater Noida.

Hyderabad: Premier Energies, a solar cell and module manufacturer, announced the launch of India's first mono perc M10 Bi-Facial Solar cell at the 15th REI expo held in Greater Noida. The launch took place at the expo in Premier Energies' exhibition stall in the presence of Bhagwant Khuba, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Chemicals, and Fertilizers, Government of India.

Premier Energies' solar manufacturing facility is based out of Hyderabad. The company claims to be the first solar manufacturing company in the country to introduce an M10 solar cell in the format of 182/182 mm with an efficiency of up to 23.2 per cent. Based on an in-depth analysis of various geographical conditions along the industrial value chain, Premier Energies says the 182mm wafer size is the most economically viable option.
