OSL breaks record in handling cargo for Utkal Alumina International

Visakhapatnam: Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL) set a new record in loading of sandy grade calcined alumina powder at East Quay 6 of Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA).

A record quantity of 8,055 metric tonnes with a gang hook output of 672 MT calcined alumina in bulk of M/s Utkal Alumina International Ltd was loaded into m.v. Faith at on Friday by surpassing the previously loaded record quantity of 7,656 metric tonnes as per the vessel Master’s draught survey figure with a gang hook output of 638 MT of calcined alumina in bulk of Pioneer Aluminium Industries Ltd of m.v Maya at East Quay-3 on December 16 last.

Orissa Stevedores Ltd was the stevedores and Eshwar Shipping Services is the steamer agents for m.v. Faith vessel.
