NTPC Simhadri signs MoU with CIPET

Visakhapatnam: As part of its CSR–Community Development initiatives, NTPC Simhadri signed a MoA with CIPET, Vijayawada to provide skill development training to unemployed youth from the Parawada region, thereby enhancing their employability and income generation opportunities. Under this agreement, three batches of residential training will be conducted during FY 2025–26, each of four months’ duration with 30 candidates per batch. The training programs include Machine Operator – Injection Moulding (MO-IM) and Machine Operator – Plastics Processing (MO-PP), aimed at preparing industry-ready manpower. Sameer Sharma, Executive Director & Head of Project, NTPC Simhadri, reaffirmed NTPC’s commitment to community empowerment through sustainable skill development and livelihood creation. The MoA signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from NTPC’s HR and CSR teams, along with Dr Ch Shekar, Joint Director & Head, CIPET Vijayawada, and the CIPET team.
