Brief us about the Netplus Broadband and unique offerings that your company provides to the customers?

The most popular service provider in Punjab is Netplus Broadband. We are the leading and fastest-growing ISP in the area, offering next-generation services like high-speed broadband on the FTTH platform, smart telephony, and OTT services. It is renowned for its lightning-fast connection speeds and excellent customer retention rate. With a vast FTTH network spanning eight States, the company provides top-notch services to more than 5 lakh clients, including residential, SMR, and corporate customers in key cities and townships of urban and rural Punjab.

What were the company's goals and objectives when it was founded? In a nutshell, tell us about your journey since the company's foundation?

With the objective of offering broadband to everyone and everywhere, our goal is to be the top supplier of broadband services in the nation. The company began operations in 2016 and aggressively rolled out its 6 million house passes through 14,000 channel partners throughout eight States. It also had strong and aggressive consumer offerings that offered value for the customers' money. The first service provider to introduce a 1 Gig Plan in the area is Netplus. The business saw enormous expansion, adding more than 5 lakh consumers, and is now the clear market leader in the area.

What are your growth plans?

We strive to reorganize at the national level as a model ISP providing next generation services. We partnered with BBNL for rural expansion and have plans to invest Rs 300 crore capex in 2022.

We are working to be among the top five broadband companies in 2022. India has close to 6.5 lakh villages so the next way of expansion for us this year will be through a rural broadband project that we all are focusing upon. We will also be investing heavily in technology development and automation to have a cutting edge over the competition in delivering a next-generation experience. We will be continuously expanding and grooming our service delivery team. We plan to reach a 7.5 lakh base this year with 10 million home passes.

How is your company helping customers in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities?

We are one of India's leading operators focused on tier 2 and tier 3 cities. We provide the same quality of FTTH fiber that we give to our urban customers. Our mission is to take broadband service delivery to every gram panchayat through strategic tie-up and mission. We have our services in almost over 300 tier 2 and tier 3 cities and systems are already in place to manage them effectively.
