Netherlands Embassy explores Vizag Port

Visakhapatnam: A team from the Embassy of Netherlands visited the Visakhapatnam Port Authority on Wednesday and tried to understand various facilities and the potential for export and import of cargo.

Joost Geijer, Head of Economic Affairs and Amlan Bora, Trade Commissioner of Netherlands Business Support Office from Netherlands Embassy held talks to explore government 2 government (G2G) collaborations under the ambit of shipping MoU between India and the Netherlands.

Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) chairman K Rama Mohana Rao briefed on the business opportunities available for trade between India and Netherlands through the major port. Joost Geijer during the talks stated that these meetings are beneficial for both the nations in developing economic activity. VPA deputy chairman Dugesh Kumar Dubey and Traffic Manager B Ratna Sekhar participated in the meeting.
