Lucknow Super Giants onboards DPGC as associate partner

Mumbai: RPSG-owned franchise Lucknow Super Giants on Thursday announced its association with Darwin Platform Group of Companies (DPGC) as the Associate Partner for the 15th edition of the T20 competition, scheduled to be held from March 26-May 29. The association will see India's Darwin Platform Group, a leading Indian Global Business Conglomerate brand's logo on the back of the jersey of the Lucknow Super Giants team.

Over the years, under Ajay Harinath Singh, Founder and Group Chairman's guidance, the Darwin Platform Group of Companies has expanded and taken its business across geographical boundaries in high-growth sectors, such as infrastructure, banking, pharmaceuticals, finance, mining, information and technology, healthcare, and aviation, turning the Group into a multinational conglomerate.

Talking to Bizz Buzz, Dr Raja Roy Choudhury, Group CEO, said: "Darwin Platform Group is one of the key brand sponsors for the newly formed Lucknow Super Giants for IPL Season 13."

The partnership with LSG will be a big feather in our cap to promote the Darwin Platform Group as a progressive multi business house at a pan India level, he added.

Talking about why they chose the Lucknow IPL team, DPGC Group Chairman Ajay Harinath Singh said in a statement, "Darwin platform's vision has always been to convert dreams into reality. Associating our name with one of the most-watched sports events was a no-brainer. People in India celebrate sports like Cricket and Hockey. We are proud to be the key sponsor for the debutant IPL team. With players like KL Rahul, Krunal Pandya, Jason Holder, and others, we both are aiming at becoming champions."

Raghu Iyer, CEO, Lucknow Super Giants said, "We are delighted to be partnering a large and diverse group like Darwin Platform Group of Companies for the upcoming IPL season. We are grateful for their confidence in our new franchise and believe that it will be a mutually beneficial association for both brands."
