Jio observes road safety week in Telangana

Hyderabad: Indian telecommunication company, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited said its office in Telangana observed 'National Road Safety Week' across all its work locations in the State.

Every year National Road Safety Week is observed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways from January 11 - 17. The National Road Safety Week, this year, in its 34th edition, carries the theme of 'Sadak Suraksha - Jeevan Raksha,' with a focus on how safety on roads equates to longevity in life.

Jio Telangana said it too observed the road safety campaign to create awareness among its employees and re-educate them to be safe on the roads while they are out for work.

As part of this campaign, Jio said it organised several programmes for the field team to understand the importance of road safety. Here, the senior management team delivered series of awareness sessions on 'Importance of Road Safety'; road safety movie presentation was made to all the employees; safety rally was conducted and poster -presentation on road safety was organised as part of this campaign.
