Show-cause notice served to L&T chairman, others

A show-cause notice has been served to the chairman of L&T Group and other officials concerned for allegedly looting thousands of homebuyers in the name of providing affordable houses in violation of the orders issued by Reserve Bank of India and Supreme Court.

In a letter written to Bizz Buzz, a complainant, Ganesh V Dahiphale, says, “Apart from L&T group chairman and other officials concerned, show-cause notices have also been served to the group’s CA, Vikas Khiyani for looting thousands of homebuyers in the name of providing affordable homes in violation of the orders by Supreme Court and RBI.”

The issue relates to real estate properties developed by L&T and Xrbia groups. The complainants have alleged that the builders are trying to declare as bankrupt in their bid to avoid home supply to the buyers and by showing fake signatures of the buyers.

The complainants have urged Supreme Court, RBI and media to take appropriate action in this connection so that justice is given to the home buyers.
