Credai Vizag Property Expo evokes big response

The 9th Credai Vizag Property Expo, began with an impressive turnout of prospective buyers on the second day. The highlight was an interactive session on green building movement in India with a detailed presentation by S Anand, Associate Council, South Region, Indian Green Building Council.

Visakhapatnam: Over 300 residential flats, villas and plots are up for grabs with attractive offers at the 9th Credai Vizag Property Expo, which began with an impressive turnout of prospective buyers at the majestic Gadiraju Palace here on Saturday.

On the second day of the three-day expo, experts explained about sustainable technologies followed in the construction sector by adopting solar power usage, water harvesting structures and optimum utilisation available resources.

The second day's highlight was an interactive session on green building movement in India with a detailed presentation by S Anand, Associate Council, South Region, Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

Besides banks and realty developers, sanitary, electrical dealers and interiors decorators also displayed their products.

"As a goodwill gesture for those who make enquiries and book flats within three months are being given gift vouchers worth Rs.1 lakh to each buyer," Credai Visakhapatnam Chapter Chairman KSRK Raju (Sai), told Bizz Buzz on Sunday.

Attractive prizes to daily lucky-dip winners are being given. The banks also explained about various loan options with easy EMI schemes.

The event is evoking heavy turnout due to Christmas and New Year festivity, said Credai local unit President Varada Dharmender.

During the session on green technologies, Anand, Associate Counsellor, Southern Region, IGBC explained the importance of green buildings and its advantages. Soon the government will make it mandatory, he said adding that IGMC will extend all help to adopt IGBC methods.

Among others, Pavan Sanka, secretary, Credai Youth Wing, Vizag Chapter and G Karthik, Joint Secretary, Credai-Vizag moderated the session.

A book on "Green Built Environment" was presented to the CREDAI Chapter President Dharmender through Additional Commissioner of GVMC Dr. Sanyasi Rao.
