Amp Energy, Ohmium partner for green hydrogen
Amp Energy India will utilise Ohmium’s PEM electrolyzers for mid-scale commercial and industrial project deployment
New Delhi Amp Energy India, a renewable energy company announced its collaboration with Ohmium International, a green hydrogen company that designs, manufactures, and deploys PEM (polymer electrolyte membrane) electrolyzers. With this partnership in place, Amp Energy aims to serve mid-sized commercial and industrial (C&I) projects of 25 mw or smaller over the next three years.
Green hydrogen is becoming a key component in India's renewable energy growth story and several industries are being incentivized to adopt the same, Pinaki Bhattacharya, MD and CEO of Amp Energy India said, adding that, "This collaboration with Ohmium which has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in India will help us extend our business offerings to customers thereby providing them with a "One Stop Shop" for green energy and hydrogen in India."
Arne Ballantine, CEO of Ohmium International highlighting the benefits of green hydrogen said that it is a flexible clean energy solution which can work for customers at the megawatt to gigawatt scale. "We look forward to showing how our modular, high-volume, cost effective PEM electrolyzers can be deployed effectively and work for mid-sized customers.
