In the midst of India Pakistan conflict, as those in the border between India and Pakistan intensify, several significant Indian IT and international consultancy firms issued warnings that advise employees working in areas of high risk to work at the comfort of their homes (WFH) and to stay clear of non-essential travel. In a study published by Moneycontrol various companies, including HCLTech WFH, Deloitte, EY, Tech Mahindra, and KPMG have implemented security measures to ensure their employees' safety amid the increased security alerts, primarily in the northern states and Delhi-NCR.

The IT companies work from home advisory was issued mostly to employees working around Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Chandigarh, and other high-alert regions. WFH advisory Deloitte India travel ban has reportedly asked employees to delay any non-essential domestic or international travel. A hotline for command centres is also in place to help staff, Moneycontrol quoted sources as declaring.

"For professionals deployed in border states, the Tech Mahindra employee advisory is to return to their base location as soon as possible," an individual familiar about the situation said to the Moneycontrol. Employees were also advised to strictly adhere to the government's safety regulations.

HCLTech is the third largest IT services firm in India has declared the 9th of May as a WFH Day for all of its offices in Chandigarh, Gurugram, and Noida the employee told that Moneycontrol was in the process of implementing this decision..

Tech Mahindra had already launched an emergency preparedness exercise on May 7, with internal communication calling for calm and prudence. The company had suspended travel for non-essential reasons and directed employees to avoid discussing the situation on social media, or in client conversations.

KPMG India's employees in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Jaipur could work from home, office, or client locations based on agreements with their business managers. According to a KPMG spokesperson who spoke with Moneycontrol our KPMG India safety advisory will stay available to assist with crucial business operations.
