CII’s IWN holds session on funding for women entrepreneurs

Confederation of Indian Industry’s Telangana chapter of Indian Women Network (IWN) on Thursday organised a session on ‘Navigating Funding and Success in MSME Business for Women Entrepreneurs,’ in Hyderabad.

At the session, information on Government of Telangana, Government of India, SIDBI, and select private banks schemes available for MSME’s specifically for women entrepreneurs was provided. The programme also deliberated on creating conducive environment for businesses led by women to flourish and navigate challenges.

The session was addressed by Dr Anupama Panduru, Chairperson, IWN Telangana. She briefed about the current status of women entrepreneurship in Telangana, and the need to strengthen it further through policy support.

The other speakers included Raj Kumar Ohatker, Addl Director, Commissionerate of Industries, Telangana; Madhukar Babu, Jt Director, Commissionerate of Industries, Telangana; Ashwini Joshi, Regional Head- Business Banking Group, RBL Bank, among others.
