Visakhapatnam Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) organized a webinar on “Chatgpt: The Present and Future of Generative AI for Enterprises” here.

‘ChatGPT can provide enterprises and startups a powerful tool to solve problems, reach set goals and improve operations in the future’, mentioned Saurabh Gaur, Secretary, Department of IT, E&C and & Skills Development and Training Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking at the webinar, he felt that in future, application of ChatGPT can be extended to the data centers to improve the services at Grama Sachiwalayams. He also reiterated that AI played a key role in the National Translation Mission (NTM).

‘I am quite sure that it is a game-changer in the world of business’, felt Karunendra S. Jasti, president, FAPCCI in his speech. He mentioned that 91% of leading businesses in India and around the world are investing in AI on an ongoing basis due to its ability to automate tasks and provide valuable insights.

He requested the State Government to consider partnership with FAPCCI to curate and provide various technological driven skill programs such as AI, data analytics, cyber security, cloud computing and many more training programs not just in Vizag or Vijayawada but also at district levels.

Bala Prasad Peddigari, one of the key speakers explained how ChatGPT can improve customer service, generate leads, create high quality content and conduct research to help achieve the objectives. Speaking about evolution of generative AI, AI trends, outlook, open AI, Chat GPT use cases he said generative AI is a disruptive technology that can generate artifacts that previously relied on humans, delivering innovative results without the biases of human experiences and thought processes.

He also emphasised upon the unseen dangers that should be considered when GPT technology takes over mainstream adoption.

The webinar was conducted by FAPCCI as part of its continuous endeavor to encourage skill development activities for the betterment of the trade and industry in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, FAPCCI had conducted a certificate course in Export Import Management (EXIM), said Jasti.

Kankatala Mallikharjuna Rao, vice president, FAPCCI expressed his gratitude to all the delegates who participated in the webinar and wished that the efforts put in by the FAPCCI for the skill development will add gradient colors to the trade and industry in Andhra Pradesh.
