Hyd to host global pharma expo on July 5-7

Hyderabad: With the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) will be organising the ninth edition of the International Pharma Exhibition (IPHEX) on July 5-7, 2023 in Hyderabad. The flagship event was initiated a decade ago with a vision of access to quality and affordable generics globally.

The first IPHEX was organised in 2013 and hosted eight editions of IPHEX successfully at major cities like Mumbai, New Delhi and Ahmedabad. For all the eight editions, a total of 4,500 plus foreign delegates including regulatory officials, public procurement agencies and importers from 120 plus countries, 3,500 exhibitors and one lakh plus visitors attended.

The previous editions of IPHEX have created synergy and confidence in pharma firms across the globe to network, collaborate and source supplies from the Indian pharma industry, said Ravi Uday Bhaskar Director General of Pharmexcil, while launching the 9th edition of IPHEX.
