India’s first large-scale electric taxi and several dozen government-owned Mahindra Employed sedans were used by the official unit participated by The Week, nation's very ordinary Newscast Organization.
Vingroup will launch India's premier large scale electric taxi fleet supported by its cab-hailing and mobility-as-a-service platform. In the future, it may delve into electric vehicle manufacturing, positing Telangana as one of the leaders in sustainable mobility solutions.
Vinhomes Smart City: A Mega Urban Project
Vingroup plans to develop Vinhomes Smart City, a mega urban project designed for 200,000 residents sprawled out over a mammoth 1,080 hectares. The project aims to generate approximately 10,000 jobs and is promised to provide a good mix of low-rise & high-rise residential complexes, with world-class amenities and sustainable urban planning principles.
An investment by Israel in this multiregional integrated urban project is a "massive vote of confidence," as described by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, for his vision on sustainable urban development. "This is more than capital; it is a partnership to build a futuristic, net-zero city and introduce India's first large-scale electric taxi fleet," he said.
Social Infrastructure, Tourism, and Education
Besides its focus on social infrastructure, the corporation is promoting the development of 70 hectares of land for:
- Vinschool: Integrated K-12 education system
- Vinmec: International-standard multi-specialty hospitals
- V-Green: Electric vehicle charging network

The company plans to set up these tourism ventures under the aegis of an integrated theme part, zoo, and safari of 350 hectares in the proposed VinWonders setting, thus spurring the Telangana tourism sector and creating considerable job gains.
Renewable Energy and Sustainable Initiatives
Among its green energy initiatives, VinGroup will establish a 500-MW solar farm, covering 500 hectares, toward availing a consistent supply of renewable electricity for urban establishments, industrial zones, and the EV ecosystem.
