Short bursts of exercise are quite protective against inflammatory diseases. It helps with health issues like arthritis, serious cardiovascular disease and dementia.
A new study reveals that short bursts of vigorous physical activity done regularly may significantly reduce the risk of eight major health conditions, highlighting the power of quick, high-intensity movement for overall well-being.

Just a few minutes of vigorous activity every day decreases the chances of eight major conditions. According to a study, a person can easily fight against physical conditions like
- Arthritis,
- Heart,
- Liver
- Kidney disease
- Dementia.
Short bursts or health benefits exercise of intense, breathless action, such as sprinting to catch a bus, have been connected to a decreased risk of disease and overall mortality. According to reports shared by the European Heart Journal, such quick efforts are quite helpful in defending against inflammatory conditions. It can be helpful for diseases like arthritis, major cardiovascular events and dementia.
Daily physical activity is called to bring down the possibilities of chronic disease and premature death, with regular activity giving additional benefits every minute.
Author Minxue Shen, Xiangya School of Public Health in China, said. But questions remain about the importance of intense activity versus total physical activity,"
Shen also added, "For example, if two people do the same total amount of activity, does the person who exercises more vigorously gain greater health benefits? And if someone has limited time, should they focus on exercising harder rather than longer?”
The research checked out the date of more than 96,400 people from the UK Biobank. Accelerometers worn out on the wrist for a week assisted to check the movements, adding brief bouts of vigorous activity that people sometimes overlook.
For health issues like diabetes and chronic liver disease, following the right duration and intensity is equally important. 15-20 minutes of exercise is just sufficient to take care of human health.
