Maxivision strengthens retinal diagnostics with Widefield Fundus camera

Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals has strengthened its retinal diagnostic capabilities at its Somajiguda Centre of Excellence with the introduction of an advanced widefield fundus imaging system, significantly enhancing the detection and monitoring of complex retinal conditions.

The newly installed widefield fundus camera offers a substantially broader view of the retina compared to conventional fundus cameras, enabling clinicians to identify early retinal lesions, degenerative changes and vascular abnormalities that may otherwise go undetected.

The technology is expected to play a critical role in the early diagnosis and management of retinal and systemic health-linked eye diseases.
