Healthium Medtech spreads its wings in Sri City
By manufacturing precision medical devices locally, company will reduce dependence on imports, ensuring access to world class tech for patients

Hyderabad: Healthium Medtech, one of India’s leading precision Medtech companies, announced the expansion of its manufacturing capability at Sri City. The new facility was inaugurated by Anish Bafna, CEO of the company in the presence of Dr Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City and a host of distinguished guests.
Welcoming the gathering, Anish Bafna, CEO of Healthium Medtech, said that the expansion represents their commitment to building self reliance in India’s healthcare sector. By manufacturing precision medical devices locally, the company will reduce dependence on imports and ensuring access to world class technology for patients in India and abroad. “We are equally proud of our workforce, where women form the majority, reflecting our belief in empowerment and inclusive growth,” he added.

The company is operating in Sri City since 2012 through its SEZ facility producing sutures and meshes. Following the expansion, Healthium will significantly scale up its production capacity from 1.3 lakh dozens per month to 2.8 lakh dozens per month, manufacturing wound closure devices, surgical sutures, meshes, and other advanced medical products.
