HCA opens Global Capability Center

Hyderabad: HCA Healthcare Inc., a Fortune 100 healthcare leader with 192 hospitals and 2,500 care sites in US and UK, on Wednesday inaugurated its first Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, choosing Hyderabad as its strategic hub. The company plans to invest $75 million by end of 2025 and expand its workforce to 3,000 colleagues by 2026. The Hyderabad GCC will support IT, supply chain, procurement, HR, finance, and accounting functions, strengthening HCA Healthcare’s global operations.

Located in HITEC City’s LEED-certified Sattva Knowledge Park, the 400,000 sq. ft. facility was inaugurated by Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Telangana Minister for IT, Industries and Legislative Affairs, in the presence of HCA Healthcare leaders. The minister said Hyderabad is the gateway to a complete global ecosystem of healthcare, pharma, and life sciences. "HCA Healthcare’s decision is a strong endorsement of our leadership".

Emily Duncan, SVP, Global Capability Network, HCA Healthcare, said "this center reflects our strong commitment to developing global capabilities in this region".
