NTPC arm begins 2 solar projects

New Delhi: State-owned NTPC on Tuesday said its arm NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NREL) has begun 168.02 MW commercial electricity supply from its two solar projects in Khavda in Gujarat. With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC group stands at 89,057 MW and commercial capacity at 87,977 MW, a regulatory filing said. NREL has begun commercial supply of 78.02 MW out of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project from March 31, 2026. Similarly, it has commenced commercial supply of 90 MW out of 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project.
