EESL launches e-com platform to offer energy efficient solutions
Five-star rated products ranging from LED bulbs to BLDC fans and air conditioners is available
Hyderabad: Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has launched an e-commerce platform with an aim to bring about a significant change in India’s energy landscape. It offers nine-watt three-star LED bulbs (33 per cent energy saving), inverter bulbs, five-star fans (40 per cent less energy usage).
EESL Mart.in is an e-commerce portal, empowering consumers and businesses towards a greener tomorrow, EESL stated in a press release on Sunday. EESL is a joint venture of PSUs under the auspices of the Union Ministry of Power.
EESL’s initiative aligns with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget emphasis on energy efficiency, bolstering PM Narendra Modi’s LIFE mission, said EESL CEO Vishal Kapoor.
He said EESL Mart.in is a pivotal step towards an energy-efficient India, aiming for holistic transformation.
EESL is contemplating to provide star-rated appliances to Discoms consumers, fostering mutual benefits for both Discoms and consumers alike. EESL plans to expand from B2C to B2B sectors, reinforcing their commitment to innovation and sustainability.
