Adani Total Gas INOX India partnership: Adani Total Gas and INOX India joint venture

Energy partnership for the LNG sector:

INOX India Ltd (INOXCVA), a global leader in the storage and distribution of cryogenic liquids, and Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL), India's leading city gas distribution company, have signed an agreement to strengthen the country's Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) ecosystem. This was announced by INOX India Ltd on February 5.

Thanks to the deal of Adani Total Gas collaboration with INOX, ATGL and INOXCVA will work together to deliver LNG and LCNG equipment and services, becoming "preferred partners" for each other.

Adani Total Gas and INOX India joint venture, in the words of the respective leaders:

"Air pollution and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are on the rise," said Suresh P. Manglani, Executive Director & CEO of ATGL, about the partnership. ''With industries still proliferating and a huge rise in the use of heavy vehicles to move goods, problems will get even tougher in the future. This partnership with INOXCVA will help ATGL speed up the gradual switch of long-haul heavy vehicles and buses that use HSD/diesel to LNG, which will help cut CO2 and GHG emissions by over 30%. ATGL will also speed up the building of LNG stations across the country to make fleet operators more likely to use LNG as a fuel for their vehicles,'' he added.

Siddharth Jain, Promoter and Non-Executive Director of INOXCVA said on the Adani Total Gas and INOX India joint venture, "As our economy gets ready to go into overdrive, we must also keep our eyes on making sure that the transition happens in a way that is sustainable. Because of this, we're excited about working with ATGL to build and promote LNG as a fuel for transportation and make the LNG ecosystem stronger. Our combined synergies, backed by the knowledge and size of both parties, will really help the economy's stakeholders cut down on emissions and make big steps towards the green transition.''
